Common Questions

What is the membership process?

Start with a free application and tell us a little about yourself, what matters to you, and the kind of connection you're hoping to find. We personally review applications and get to know potential members. When we see meaningful opportunities for introductions in your area, we'll contact you to discuss membership and the next steps. There's no obligation to join.

How does the matching work?

We believe meaningful connections deserve a personal touch. Rather than relying solely on algorithms or endless swiping, Offbeat Club takes a thoughtful, human-first approach to introductions.

We consider your interests, values, relationship goals, and the qualities you're hoping to find in another person. Our goal is to introduce people who may genuinely enjoy getting to know one another, whether they're seeking romance, companionship, or a lasting relationship.

What is the difference between a waitlist and membership?

Applying to Offbeat Club is free. Once we receive your application, we'll take time to get to know you and what you're looking for. If we're still building our community in your area, you'll be placed on our waitlist.

When we believe there's meaningful potential for connections in your area, we'll reach out to discuss membership and the next steps. There is no obligation to join, and no membership fee is charged while you're on the waitlist.

Are there privacy and safety measures?

Your privacy, comfort, and personal information matter to us. Offbeat Club takes a personal approach to introductions and encourages respectful, thoughtful connections.

We ask members to use good judgment when communicating or meeting with someone new. We also encourage first meetings in public places and recommend that members never share sensitive financial or personal information with someone they have just met.

For more information about how we collect and handle personal information, please review our Privacy Policy.

Safety First

At Offbeat Club, we believe meaningful connections should begin with mutual respect, honesty, and consideration for personal boundaries.

When meeting someone new, we encourage members to take their time, arrange initial meetings in public places, let a trusted friend or family member know their plans, and protect sensitive personal and financial information.

While we strive to create a welcoming and respectful community, every member is responsible for exercising personal judgment and taking appropriate precautions when communicating or meeting in person.

Your comfort, privacy, and well-being matter to us.
